A Crafty Space and Winner

Hello friends

Well the tags were popular yesterday.
They do come up smaller than say the Tim Holtz tags I decorate regularly
but they are the perfect size for card toppers and treats.
I have more arriving in stock soon along with other Celebra'tions items.

Today I am featuring another crafty space and this one is in Spain!
Wendy (aka Spanish Crafter) is the lucky lady who lives abroad, she
has a superb blog which you can visit here.

This is what Wendy has to say about her crafty space...

Mine is a room which was the oustside veranda on the front of our apartment, which was already glassed in when we bought it.  This is a pic before it was painted, this is the colour alot of the oustsides of building are painted here in Spain, a yukky mustard colour.

It was then painted off white, and my new book shelves were installed to house a lot of my stash.
I  have floor to ceiling windows on two sides and patio doors leading to the living room at the back, so lots of light.  But it does get mighty hot in the summer, hence double curtains.

I'm thinking it looks very organised Wendy and I'm envious of all that natural light.
Many thanks for forwarding the photos.

Still not too late to submit photos of your crafty space, I will be featuring them all.

Now to the lucky number for June's Charity Kit.
Rush and check your kits and if you are the winner please email:
hope-chances@live.co.uk

A goodie box of Spellbinders, adhesive, papers, stamps is
waiting to be sent out to you!

Kitten update:
I posted this photo on Facebook to show that the kittens really are quite small.
A camera shy Pixel.
And this is Lily -  into everything!
She is still very loud too!

Bella isn't forgotten - extra hugs and kisses as she is so good.

Enjoy your Saturday - what are you up to?
Take care friends.

Hi Christine. Oh such cote kittens and so small.
Wendy's crafty space is lovely and as we live in adjoining villages, I´ve been lucky enough to have a mooch around it. She's so organised and the room is so light and airy.
Have a lovely weekend

Good morning Christine
What a lucky lady Wendy is - a tidy craft room and lovely warm Spanish sunshine!
Congratulations to the June raffle winner.
Loving the pictures of the kittens - my children keep asking when we are going to replace our two cats who passed away several years ago now but I have always resisted. Your photos are making me wonder if I should rethink.
Today will be filled with housework (boo) and hopefully a little crafting (yeah).
Enjoy your day
Lesley

We were supposed to be going to Cirencester Show today (an agricultural & Country Show), but it's raining, so we may change our minds...have a good day all! Hugs Carole Z X

Good morning Christine, Wendy has a very organised craft room and in Spain too, how lovely. I'm not sure I would get too much crafting done living there though. The kittens are adorable and look so much fun. It's raining today here in Norfolk, so hopefully I can spend some crafting today.

Hi Christine, oh I LOVE the pictures of Pixel and Lily. How sweet are they and you can judge how tiny they are comparing them to the drinks bottle. And pleased to hear Bella is a good girl too - but what else would you expect from her...
What a lovely crafty space Wendy has in Spain and all that natural light. Very organized too.
It is raining here today but not worried as I have some cards to make for Monday.
Enjoy the weekend.

Thanks Christine for featuring my craft room. It gets used less in summer as so flippin' hot now, afternoons are best as the sun moves around.
Kittens look so cute and mischievous. xxx

I already visit Wendy's blog every day, though don't always post, I'm more of a lurker. Ah, now it's easy to see the kittens are still quite small, especially next to that bottle.

Morning Christine, no winning ticket for me again - will have to keep trying! Such cutie kitties, cats love getting into bags and boxes don't they, no matter how big or small. Gorgeous crafty space that Wendy has. I hope you have a good weekend and not as wet as it is down here. Emma

Hello Christine. I hope this craft room isn't normally like that - far too tidy and makes feel utterly ashamed of my creative mess. Big squidgy hug to those adorable kittens - sorry Bella, you can have one too. Garden's happy but I'm not all that rain again. xxMargaretxx

Hi Christine. I am playing catch up again so want to say that the card on Thursday was lovely. Every time you use photo corners it reminds me that I still haven't got any! i love the look they give : )Fridays tag is so pretty, the dies are great and I love the bracket one. Elliott looks like he is really stressed......(not) looking after the kittens : ) they are both so cute.
Congratulations to June's charity kit winner.
Finally, I want to say that I am rather envious of Wendy's craft room! I will keep telling myself that it gets far too hot ; ) Seriously, it looks wonderful, and so tidy and organised.
I am going to get some crafting in tomorrow, boring housework etc. today. I hope you have a good weekend. Take care.

Hi Christine,
My craft room has NEVER looked like this - I am very happy in my chaotic creative environment. Having said that, I am organised inasmuch as I have a place for everything, all my stamps/dies/masks/embossing folders are catalogued - visually and with their locations shown. So all I have to do is page through my catalogue and then go and get what I want. I cannot have floor to ceiling storage as I already have beautiful furniture full of books and some ornaments, so I'm making do with alternative storage.
DON'T FORGET TO CHECK YOUR WASHING MACHINE BEFORE TURNING IT ON. Kittens are so quick at getting into things, you only have to turn your back and they're off to their next bit of mischief. I LOVE KITTENS AND CATS. Mine is 20 1/2 yrs now, a very old lady, think she's going senile sometimes.
Hugs, Rose
